Very successful first False Apollo tour.
We just finished our False Apollo tour (26th March - 2nd April) in Northern Greece. The weather conditions were perfect, warm and sunny. Two days were spent enjoying our main target, the False Apollo, which were in pristine conditions and in good numbers.
Other species that contributed to the richness of the tour were quite a few Southern Festoons, Eastern Greenish Black-tip, Gruners Orange Tip, Powdered Brimstone, Kruepers Small White, Southern Small White, Eastern Dappled White, Grecian Copper, Green-underside Blue, Eastern Baton Blue, Southern Comma, Nettle-Tree Butterfly and Large Tortoiseshell, altogether 43 species of butterflies.
In addition, good number of early Mediterranean flowers and more than 120 species of birds have been seen. Next year dates are from 1st to 8 th April 20180?'>http://www.wildechotours.com/en/False-Apollo-butterfly-holiday-greece.html':'>http://www.wildechotours.com/en/False-Apollo-butterfly-holiday-greece.html'))
