Butterflies of the Balkans 2013 tour - a new record

Our recent Butterflies of the Balkans tour was a great success again as the number recorded was initially 153, same as the previous year trip results. However, a bit later, while going through the pictures taken during the tour Mario found one more species - the Mountain Argus. Thus the total number of butterflies recorded on the tour went to 154!
And that number was reached despite the few days with unusually rainy weather the group has experienced. The rain was the reason for missing quite a few high mountain species - such as Cynthia's, Balkan and Shepherd's fritillaries, as well as Dewy and other  ringlets so the number could actually have been even higher.
